Cool Story, Bro

I'm updating from a store in one of the towns surrounding Chicago since I'm down here for Tyler's graduation and his weekend liberty. It's all right, I guess. Detroit's a lot worse for sure.

Anyway, Tyler's graduation into the Navy was a really interesting ceremony to see. Navy band, drill teams, stuff like that. Tyler's really proud of himself, too. And understandably so, he's a full sailor now. He'll be starting his advanced schooling on Monday, so we're sticking around with him until he has to report back to the naval base Sunday evening. He'll be a Hospital Corpsman by Januaray, sounds like, then he gets 2 weeks of mandatory leave to come back home to Sault Ste. Marie.

Me, I'm still waiting on my medical stuff to go through with the Navy, so I'm working on getting in shape beforehand. I need to buy an exercise bike or something...
